The Federación Mexicana de Futbol confirmed the agreement with Grupo Ollamani, allowing the reigning Liga MX champions to host matches in one of Mexican soccer’s most legendary venues starting from matchday two.
The cement team had been juggling alternatives while the pitch at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes behaved like a moody teenager refusing to cooperate. Early plans included staying put or shipping the Puebla clash to Estadio La Corregidora in Querétaro, but both options were scrapped once the Banorte deal closed. Liga MX approved the switch, giving the club a fixed address instead of a floating circus.
